to 2nd AvenueThe Playhouse is most easily reached from the "Second Avenue " Stop on the F Line. The closest exit to us, at the Brooklyn end of the stop, puts you on First Avenue and Houston. Walk North on First Avenue to E 4th Street and turn right. Walk East on E 4th Street until you reach us. |

to 8th StreetThe N, R, or W trains to "8th Street" (the NYU stop) let out at Broadway and 8th Street. Walk East on 8th Street, across Astor Place, where the street becomes St Mark's Place. Continue to Thompkins Square Park, where you turn right on Avenue A. When you reach E 4th Street, take a left to get to our door.
to Bleecker StreetYou can also take the 6 train to Bleecker Street Station, and walk East on Second Street to Avenue A, then north, to E 4th Street, and then right to us. |

however, street parking may be very hard to find on weekend nights. Other lots are available on Bowery Street, three blocks west
of the theater. |
