From Rags to Riches, by "The Master of Melodrama" Charles A. Taylor, premiered in New York in 1903. From the Bowery to Broadway, from Opium Den to Opera, the play runs rampant after a nefarious plot to murder an old man, kidnap a young girl, and cheat the righteous of their just desserts. The OBIE Award-winning Metropolitan Playhouse is back in high form for the fall!
